A Message to Garcia

A message to Garcia is written by Elbert Hubbard in 1899.  This essay is about a man named Rowan who was told to deliver a letter to Garcia from the president, Rowan was able to do this task without asking any questions or complaining about it at all. That was just the first part of the essay the story goes on to talk about how many people would be able to do things like this or even simpler tasks. I agree with what Elbert Hubbard is trying to say because there are many people to this day who don't want to do simple tasks for a boss an elder or someone they know. People today are very lazy and don't want to do anything but be on their phones or play video games, and most people today if they had an assignment in school they would do it but they wouldn't give it their best. So I do agree with what Elbert Hubbard was saying in this essay and I find his essay very inspirational.

  1. I like your analysis of Hubbard's essay, Julia. You need a little bit of work with sentence structure, which we can work on in this class (and in English!).
